A portal in miniature.
Inspired by the architecture of a Torii Gate, this sculpture pairs glazed clay with an eroded brick from Tommy Thompson Park in Toronto. It marks the intersection of the sacred and the everyday, the passage of time, and the dialogue between human intervention and nature. A quiet meditation on thresholds, memory, and presence.
